I just spent some time creating a packing list. I then started to create a second list. When I reopened the app the items in my new list were the only items in any of the lists.

I used to use Excel so I didnt over pack. This is great for the basics - wish you could add your own item to each category, though. You can make descriptions of items that are "sort of" close to what youre packing, though. Other than that, I like it!

How many times have we been ready to go somewhere & forgotten things hubby and I are telling each other all week NOT to forget? Yup, that wont happen again with this app, if it does- its STILL his fault tho!!!

Used free version without problems. Upgraded to pay app and I cant import lists from free version. Tried customer support and it was useless. I think all of the positive views were written by employees. On several different evening I tried to go to the website for help and it wasnt online. SAVE YOUR MONEY, dont buy this app, its crap. 1 star is generous.

Just upgraded... App crashes on launch. No longer able to use it.

Ive not actually used the app yet, so I will give it a 5 star rating & update later after Ive used. My complaint is to all you reviewers out there - if you want your suggestions & problems dealt with YOU HAVE TO LIST WHAT OPERATING SYSTEM YOURE USING, WHAT DEVICE ITS ON & THE DEVICE # (as in iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod 2, etc.) IF YOU WANT THEM TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM!!!! It seems so simple, yet how many times have you read negative reviews & then outstandingly positive reviews for the SAME app w/the SAME update?!? Its not ALL developers cushing their reviews! Plus, it will help the rest of us reading the reviews to know if your problems will affect our devices. Thank you to all who heed this!!!

I have to pack for me and my little brother. But sometimes it adds two of the same items to the list. But it is an excellent app

Love the graphics in the app..... its a nice app however Please PLEASE Pretty PLEASE change the icon!!!!!!! You can do better than that for a icon... its not even 3D either.... I hate the icon! Rating it three stars because of the icon... I hate looking at it when I want to use this app! Update the icon and I will be more than glad to update the rating of this app.... It doesnt take much time to make a icon guys!

I liked the free version, so after making a huge list, I bought the pay version. Boy do I feel dumb! Though it claims to have an "import" feature, it doesnt work. You cant import anything from the free version to the paid version! Why pay?

Shopping list became more functional. All app is even more handy now, For Export/Import use File sharing - it works fine. Thanks!

Dont waste your time and/or money on anything else -- this app is flexible, user-friendly and easily exportable via email as a straightforward checklist that you can print out anytime. I like how you can move lists around between devices and build on previous customised lists. Great value.

1. Graphically pleasing. A first amongst a sea of cobbled-together looking pack list apps as some of the other highly-rated apps are absolutely horrible looking. (Sure, Id like to see a few more icons and an option to make the background screens a single color, but these are mere quibbles.) 2. Common sense functionality. The interface of most packing list apps are needlessly cumbersome and clunky. This one, surprisingly, has a nice flow to it. In other words, I can actually USE this one. All in all, a well thought out app thats. joy to use! 

I have always printed out a "list" when I traveled. Now that I have an iPhone, I no longer have to do that. This is a great app to have everything organized on my phone. No more paper!!! One improvement...when I select an item (i.e., towel) and I want to add a comment (i.e., hand/washcloth) it will show that I added it (like in the second screenshot above), but when I go back to the list, later that day or the next day, the comment is no longer there. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong. Thanks again!

I tried the free version first and then bought the paid version. This app is so easy to use and is what I needed. I have other travel packing apps but this one is the best for packing. Thanks to the developer.

I have a love/hate relationship with this app. I use it a LOT. However, there seems to be some confusion over deleting items. I really dont understand how the app works as far as saving lists, "save as", etc. Im not sure what happens when I delete an item. It seems to stay hidden in the background, as I can have every item checked off on my list, yet it will NOT show 100% packed. If I hit "check all", it WILL show 100% packed. In addition, when I email a list, I get random extra categories and items (from other lists). I suspect this all has to do with HOW various items have been added or deleted. Ive contacted tech support a few times about this and they dont have a clue. Other gripes...the "Check all" icon is WAY to easy to hit, which will really screw up your packing. I dont even see the need for a "Check all" button. If they have to have one, perhaps it could at least lead to a message saying, "Do you really want to check everything in the whole list?" There are not enough icons. I cleverly thought I could take my own pictures and/or upload pics from the internet. Worked great, but after about five pictures added the app would not open at all. When I finally tried deleting the pictures, the app opened. It seems that was taking too much memory. So dont offer the possibility when it will cause problems. I like the app. I dont want to start over with something new. But I do wish they would improve it.

It would be great to be able to sync lists across my iphone and ipad without having to export and import. Effortless, automatic syncing would be perfect. I may have to switch to another app. EDIT: Still no update in almost a year, still no Cloud syncing. I switched to another app.

i tried a lot of packing apps, and finally tried this. from the start it has 90% of every list you ever made, no matter where you go. second, you can easily edit app lists and simply create your own. i created my lists and now every time i move somewhere, i always calm, cause i know that no matter what i didnt miss something. thanx. and now for iPhone 5!

While I like the updated look of this app...it is a lot more buggy. For some reason the items I have clicked to pack are not showing up in the "packing" screen. They are checked but not showing up to pack. This is not exactly helpful when trying to pack for a trip. I find I have to go back to the edit screen and delete and add items and even then it is still inconsistently showing up between screens. I have been using this app for years and I much prefer the original app, while it didnt look as nice it worked properly.
